You’ve never done more than run for the bus? Perfect!
Our special run walk system is just right for you! Join us for run-walks in Central Park and build up little by little. Before you know it, you’ll have run-walked far enough to make a difference. And you’ll have fun too!
Many of us started as total couch potatoes – now we run marathons! You can too, or you can aim at shorter distances if you like. Or maybe you could just run-walk with our group to socialize and have fun. Faster runners join our groups to recovery from injuries or come back to running after being inactive. Everyone is welcome in the Galloway group.

How do we do it?
Have you ever watched the NYC Marathon and thought, “I wonder if I could do that?” We think you can.
Just run for one minute at a time. Then put together enough minutes you have a mile. As you start feeling more comfortable, you’ll run for two minutes, then three, then more and more. Put together enough miles you have a marathon, get a medal, and gain an experience you’ll never forget!
Our run walk system reduces injuries, increases your endurance, and makes the whole experience more fun from beginning to end. Regardless of your experience or fitness level, run walks are good for your health, your heart, and your mood. Within a few weeks, you’ll probably find yourself covering more distance than you ever thought possible, and you’ll have fun doing it!
You can choose a pace group that fits your speed, and have confidence that you won’t be left alone. Hundreds of people have joined our groups and found that it’s the best way to get active and have fun at the same time.

What does it cost and what do I get?
Our six-month marathon training program costs: $159 for new members; $99 for alumni.
You’ll get a weekly group running sessions, regular emails with tips to help improve your training, Runners World magazine subscription, Nutrition and Run clinics, a copy of ‘Galloway Training Program’ by Jeff Galloway and much much more!
Most of all, you’ll exercise, get more active, and have fun doing it.
