This week
If you are running the NYC marathon and want to be on the Galloway bus, put your check in the mail as you read this email. No kidding. There are a lot of members from other states coming to New York, and honestly, you really don’t want to take NYRR’s transportation. The buses are on a first come first serve basis.

A note about replacing your sneakers: Depending on the brand of sneaker you wear and your weight, your sneakers are good for anywhere between 200-400 miles. If you don’t keep track of your mileage, then a VERY good indication that you need new sneakers is if your legs ache (when they usually don’t) after a run.
Many of you are running marathons in October and November. For this reason, we are having another shoe clinic at the Upper East Side Jack Rabbit on 9/11. Please attend and buy those new sneakers and whatever else you might need.

Congratulations to those who ran Jack Rabbit Battle of Brooklyn 10 Miler.

Please feel free to bring friends to try a run.
